Raising the Bar

I started to watch this new series today called Raising the Bar starrring Mark-Paul Gosselaar as Jerry Kellerman. If you aren't sure, Mark-Paul played Zack from Saved by the Bell. It is a typical lawyer show. The main actors are from either the DA's office or the Public Defendor's Office.

In the scene, lawyer's from both sides are at a bar "letting off some steam". Mark-Paul's character is upset that the two sides can be so cavalier about the goings on of the day.

Jerry: How can you fight against each other by day and drink beers with each other by night?
Marcus: We go way back. We've all been friends a long time. But this is just business. It's not personal.
Jerry: How can you say that? It is nothing if not personal.
Marcus: Come on, Man. Chill out.

In my estimation, this is a classic Thinking (T) versus Feeling (F) dilemma. The thinkers see the situation as separate from themselves. Where as the the feeler doesn't. Neither is wrong obviously...just different.
